The Thematic Core Service (TCS) Tsunami became fully operational following its first Consortium Board meeting, held in Potsdam on 15–16 February 2024.

During the meeting, the TCS Tsunami Consortium Agreement was signed by 18 national research institutions across Europe, marking an important milestone in the establishment of the service within the European Plate Observing System (EPOS).

ETRiS is part of TCS Tsunami and contributes data, data products, software, and services for probabilistic tsunami risk analysis.
